Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum of San Diego
Ingrained Patterns explores the emotional weight of traditional Japanese patterns that hold beauty, memory, and constraint at once. Through tape art, drawing, and painting, the works reflect on cultural identity, belonging, and the unseen forces that shape who we become.
The Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum is located in the heart of Balboa Park, one of San Diego’s most celebrated cultural destinations, home to museums, gardens, historic architecture, and the San Diego Zoo.
Package tickets for multiple Balboa Park attractions are also available. If you are in the area, I would be delighted for you to visit the exhibition and enjoy all that Balboa Park has to offer. Please see the links below for admission details and to plan your visit.
