What Makes You, You? is a solo exhibition exploring how culture, family, traditions, memories, and expectations shape our identities. Through works incorporating traditional Japanese patterns, the exhibition examines the influences we inherit, the beliefs and expectations that become ingrained in us, and the tension between what we choose and what is passed down to us. It invites viewers to reflect on what has shaped them, what they carry, and who they are becoming.

October 10, 2026 - October 31, 2026
Project Space
Autumn Show is a group exhibition featuring four Japanese female artists at Project Space in the Los Angeles Arts District. The exhibition opens on October 10 and brings together the work of Joyce Hayashi, Kaoru Mansour, Yumiko Glover, and myself. The opening reception will feature live music by Matt Piper and Sara Sithi-Amnuai.
